DescriptionI’m very pleased to offer this striking 1920s polychrome chandelier by Lincoln! The fixture is from Lincoln’s 2200 Line. This type fixture is called strap-style because it’s made primarily from flat metal bars, like belt straps. What I love about such fixtures is how curvaceous they are. Just lovely to look at. The style was very popular in the 1920s and 1930s, and used in a variety of home styles including bungalows, Arts & Crafts, Spanish-Revival, Colonial-Revival, and Four-squares.The fixture retains its distinctive original polychrome colors. The main color is kinda coppery. There are accents of pink and emerald. The socket rings are brass, gently polished.I particularly love the five large “leaves” which shoot out from the arms, and glorious with their original hot pink and green polychrome! A bit of zip!The chandelier retains its original finial, socket rings, ceiling canopy, and blind stem (the part sticking out from the canopy). The fixture has new cloth-covered wiring. Nice. This fixture will be shipped ready to hang, and with all the mounting hardware needed!DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included). Clear, round LED bulbs would look well. COLOR: See above. SIZE: The chandelier is 39-inches long (with bulbs), and an impressive 21-wide. I can remove up to 11-inches of chain; I can add chain. CONDITION: There’s minor loss of finish to the bottom, center of the canopy. Otherwise, there’s no damage. The sockets are original (and in fine shape) with new wiring and paper insulators. The polychrome colors are original. I refinished the strap arms. Everything else has just been cleaned. The original chain was corroded. This is common. The new chain matches in scale and shape. SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
