1920s ‘pan’ laurel wreath chandelier. Glass shades.

DescriptionI’m very pleased to offer this lovely 1920s pan-style chandelier featuring classical laurel wreath motifs.Much of the fixture is stamped brass. The wreath motifs are cast brass.Even the shades feature laurel wreaths!Pan-style fixtures were wildly popular from about 1915 to 1935 and were used in all style homes.The fixture is 27-inches long, and 15-inches wide. I can remove up to 9-inches of chain; I can add chain. The fitters are 2-1/4-inches.The wiring is all new, and cloth-covered like the original. Nice.This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included). Clear Edison-style LED bulbs would look well. COLOR: See above. SIZE: See above. CONDITION: One shade has a small chip to its bottom edge. This doesn’t really register. The original chain was corroded (this is common), the new chain is an exact match. The sockets are original (and in fine shape) with new wiring and paper insulators. Much of the stamped brass was painted originally. This was in poor condition so I refinished in champagne bronze, a close match to the original. Gorgeous.
