DescriptionI’m very pleased to offer this lovely 1910s pan-style surface-mounted ceiling fixturePan-style fixtures were wildly popular from about 1910 to 1935 and were used in all style homes.This fixture is brass. Originally, it had a bronze-colored polychrome (a painted finish) with subtle accents of blue and red. This finish shows significant wear and loss but I was disinclined to remove it to reveal the underlying brass. Why? Because I find the ancient-looking finish quite beautiful.Where the underlying brass is exposed, the metal has acquired a dark patina. I only but gently polished the exposed brass.Scale-wise the fixture is ideal for a small bedroom or foyer. It’s 14 x 7 and hangs down 4.5-inches (without bulbs).The sockets and wiring are all new.This fixture is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!DETAILS: The fixture accepts standard base 60W bulbs (not included).
