DescriptionI’m very pleased to offer this fabulous 1920s chandelier by the incomparable Lightolier CompanyWow.The fixture is from Lightolier’s “Marquis Series”, featuring exquisite green glass iridescent bulb rings.Yep. WOW!NEED MORE?I have a matching 5-bulb in storage.I have, too, a smaller-4-bulb chandelier.AND, two 4-bulb surface-mounted fixtures. The whole is breathtaking. The chandelier retains its original parts, including the distinctive finial, chain, and canopy. The wiring is all new, and cloth-covered like the original. Nice. The chandelier is scaled for a living or dining room. It’s 18-wide and 37-inches high. I can remove up to 14.5-inches of chain; I can add chain. To me, a fixture like this should be in a museum. And not just because it retains its original parts. It’s the quality, too, and design; the fixture is light years away from the kind of lighting made today, and was wholly made in America.Wholly restored and with a new wiring, this chandelier is ready to hang, and comes with all the mounting hardware needed!DETAILS: The fixture accepts 60W standard base bulbs. I suggest clear, round LED bulbs.COLOR: See above.SIZE: See above.CONDITION:The glass rings are undamaged save some minor chipping to the inside edge (which cannot be seen). The glass rings are held in place by metal ‘socks’. These have stress cracks due to the heat of bulbs. This would not be an issue with LED bulbs. In any event, I used electrical tape to bind the ‘socks’ tight. This cannot be seen. The sockets are original with new paper insulators and and new wiring. The finishes have been renewed.SHIPPING: Insured shipping in the Continental US will be…FREE!
