The clamping force is adjusted using a hexagonal wrench. An advantage of the original Smartclip design is the rubberized inside of the clamp adapter for silent installation. In addition, the inner rubber coating of the PS adapter protects the rifle scope from scratches. The inlet edges on the adapter are rounded to make it easier to put on.
