April 2026 – Online Demonstration on Handmade Bells, 3 ways

Description During this demonstration we are going to be making BELL flowers of different shapes and sizes. Think small bluebells, belflowers aka campanula, larger stylised bells and others. You will receive 3 different templates for 3 differently constructed bell flowers that you will learn to make during the demonstration. As with all other flowers, bell flowers can have numerous applications, from fabric flower earrings to brooches to showy headpieces. Some designs can be created with leather.   This demonstration is suitable for students of any level, however previous experience in flower making is helpful. A number of flower shaping tools is going to be used to achieve the necessary 3D shaping on the flower parts (small round ball tools, single knife, extra narrow tool, tweezers etc). At  the end of the talk Svetlana will answer your burning questions, if there are any left.
